Ulyanovsk medics have passed a photofluorographic unit, a cardiograph and an ultrasound machine to the Lutugino general hospital, the district administration reported.
“Medical equipment and medications were supplied to the Lutugino central general hospital as humanitarian aid under the cooperation agreement signed between the Lutugino district and Russia’s Ulyanovsk region,” the district administration said.
Head of the Ulyanovsk delegation Alexander Ivanov said that “the Yegorov Ulyanovsk Central Clinical Hospital passed a mobile photofluorographic unit to Lutugino medics, the Ulyanovsk regional children’s clinical hospital donated an ultrasound machine and the Chuchkalov health center donated a cardiograph.
The Ulyanovsk region healthcare ministry also passed medications and dressing supplies to the Lutugino general hospital’s surgery department.
An anesthesiologist-resuscitator from the Ulyanovsk region works in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Ivanov said that “thanks to joint efforts of the Ulyanovsk region healthcare ministry and hospitals the medical service of Lutugino district residents is gradually improving.

Medics and road construction workers from Bashkortostan are working in Krasny Luch.
Cooperation agreements were signed between Russia’s Astrakhan Region and Kremennaya District, Ulyanovsk Region and Lutugino District, Irkutsk Region and Kirovsk District, Bryansk Region and Bryanka, Kaluga Region and Pervomaisk, Sevastopol and Starobelsk District, Volgograd Region and Alchevsk, Tyumen Region and Krasnodon District, Stavropol Territory and Antratsit District, Republic of Komi and Rovenki, Volgograd Region and Stanichno-Lugansky District and Omsk Region and Stakhanov.
Altai Territory is helping to rebuild Slavyanoserbsk District, Voronezh Region is rebuilding Melovoye, Markovo and Novopskov Districts, Novosibirsk Region is rebuilding Belovodsk District, Saratov Region is rebuilding Svatovo District and Belgogord Region is rebuilding Belokurakino and Troitskoye Districts.
