Woman killed as Kremennaya comes under Kiev army mortar fire
Kiev forces have fired a mortar at Kremennaya killing a woman, said the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC).
“Ukrainian armed formations fired a 120mm mortar round at the settlement of Kremennaya at 11:20,” the JCCC said. “A 66-year-old woman was killed and a house was damaged in the attack.”
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
