Three civilians including a youth with disabilities have been wounded in the town of Stakhanov in shelling by Kiev forces, said the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
"Ukrainian forces fired an American high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) at Stakhanov at 14:55 in the second attack on Tuesday,” the JCCC said.
“The enemy expended two M31 GMLRS missiles wounding three civilians including a youth with disabilities since childhood, and damaging eight apartment buildings and a power line.”
In the first strike at the town launched at 07:30, Ukrainian armed formations fired four HIMARS missiles damaging the town’s rail car manufacturing plant.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum. *i*ie
