Some 1,500 apartment buildings and civil infrastructure facilities will be put in service in the Lugansk People’s Republic this year, LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik told the Russia 24 news channel.
“In two weeks, 36 multi-functional public services centers will be launched across the Republic which were built and equipped with state-of-the-art technology,” he said adding that 90 schools would be repaired by September.
The Russian regions which help the LPR to restore its civil infrastructure are currently implementing more than 1,600 rebuilding projects, LPR authorities said.
In the first half of 20203, more than 600 key civil infrastructure facilities were restored in the LPR with the assistance of Russian sponsor regions.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that the sponsors would help rebuild 8,400 facilities in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions in the next three years including 3,500 apartment buildings, 1,400 social infrastructure facilities and 2,500 utility lines, systems etc.*i*ie
