Russian armed forces have destroyed a Ukrainian command observation post by the Chervonaya Dibrova settlement in the Kremennaya district, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“A command observation post of the Ukrainian army’s 67th Brigade was eliminated in the Chervonaya Dibrova settlement area in the Lugansk People’s Republic,” the report said.“On the Kupyansk axis, Task Force “West” units, supported by aircraft and artillery, repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkovka in the Kharkov region and Novosyolovskoye (LPR).”
The Ukrainian army lost up to 30 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, three cars and one D-20 howitzer.   “On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units, aircraft, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems repelled two attacks by Ukraine’s 12th Special Operations Brigade and 42nd Mechanized Brigade in the area of Kuzmino (LPR). Enemy losses on this axis amounted up to 60 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, two pickups, one “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzer and one D-30 howitzer,” the Defense Ministry said.   Twenty-seven Ukrainian drones were eliminated in the areas of Druzhelyubovka and Voskresenk in the Kherson region, Lisichansk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Mirnoye and Pologi in the Zaporozhye region and Paraskoviyevka, Novoandreyevka, Lidiyevka and Soledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic.   ***   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force. President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation on February 24, 2022 to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance.*i
