Russian forces have repelled two attacks by Kiev troops on the Donetsk axis over the past 24 hours; the Ukrainian army has lost more than 300 fighters, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“On the Donetsk axis, Task Force “South” units supported by aircraft and artillery repelled two attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 81st Air Mobile Brigade and 24th Mechanized Brigade in the areas of Belogorovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and Kirovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the report said.
Enemy manpower and equipment were defeated in the areas of Kleshcheyevka, Mayorsk, Andreyevka and Maryinka in the DPR. “Ukrainian army losses amounted up to 300 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, six cars, two Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzers, two US-made M777 artillery pieces and one  “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzer,” the Defense Ministry said.
Seventy-six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were eliminated in the areas of Ilchenkovo, Novoye, Kharkovo, Mirnoye and Peremozhnoye in the Zaporozhye region, Sagi and Radensk in the Kherson region, Vladimirovka and Kirillovka in the DPR and Belogorovka and Shipilovka in the LPR. Eight HIMARS projectiles and one JDAM guided bomb were shot down.*i
