The Pension Fund Department for the Lugansk People’s Republic has provided individual insurance account numbers (SNILS) to more than 1,000 LPR residents, the Fund said in a press release.
“The Pension Fund Department for the LPR issued more than 1,030,300 SNILS cards,” it said.
SNILS is needed for drawing a pension which is made up of employee’s contributions to the Social Fund. A pension does not accrue if a person is not a registered employee.
SNILS requires registration with the ESIA authentication system to be able to enjoy online state and municipal services, welfare payments or state support.*i
