Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry units have extinguished more than 5,300 fires in the Republic and saved some 700 people since the beginning of this year, an official said.   “Firefighters have put out more than 5,300 fires since the start of 2022 saving some 700 people and preserving 527 million rubles worth of assets,” said LPR Emergencies Minister, Civil Defense Major-General Yevgeny Katsavalov.   On August 31, the Emergencies Ministry press service reported more than 2,900 fires in the Republic’s ecosystem since the beginning of the year.
