A gas pipe, rail tracks and railway station buildings have been damaged in a Ukrainian artillery attack on the town of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People's Republic, district administration officials said on Telegram.
“On July 24, Ukrainian artillery fire damaged a medium pressure gas pipe next to the railway station, rail tracks and railway station buildings,” the Telegram post said. “Ukrainian forces also shelled a 3-kilometer long area from the veterinary clinic to a forestry building with cluster ammunition. There were no casualties.”
District administration officials reported that Kiev forces shelled Kremennaya twice on Monday ruining the post office and damaging the square next to the bus terminal.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*sb
