An LPR kidnapped officer of the JCCC Mission has been liberated today from a Starobelsk pre-trial detention facility after 143 days in captivity.
"Thanks to the People's Militia and the liberation of Starobelsk, an LPR JCCC officer Andrey Kosyak has been freed," Lugansk Media Center correspondent reported.
Ukrainian army's saboteurs captured a representative of the LPR Mission to the JCCC Andrey Kosyak in the Zolotoye security zone on October 13. The LPR demanded that Kiev immediately release Kosyak.
February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in Donbass to protect residents of the region from Ukrainian aggression and called on Ukrainian troops to leave the combat zone. Earlier, the Heads of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin, requested the Russian president to provide military assistance.
