Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have attacked Rovenki damaging oil depot utility rooms and office buildings, said the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC).
“Overnight to April 27, Ukrainian armed formations delivered a strike at the town of Rovenki, LPR, using seven Mugin-5 attack UAVs. Five of them were shot down, and the other two detonated on the oil depot premises,” the JCCC said. “Oil depot office buildings and utility rooms were damaged in the attack.”
In the April 24 attack on the oil depot, Ukraine also used unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum. *i*ie
