Kiev forces damage or destroy 87 homes, eight infrastructure facilities in LPR over week - JCCC
Kiev forces damaged or destroyed 87 homes and eight infrastructure facilities in the Lugansk People’s Republic last week, said the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
“(Last week), Ukrainian forces damaged or destroyed 87 houses and eight civil infrastructure facilities including a medical center and two education institutions,” the JCCC said.
In January, Kiev forces damaged or destroyed 145 houses and 37 infrastructure facilities in artillery attacks on the LPR.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
