Representatives of Ukraine's authorities and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) do not participate in the efforts to return bodies of dead soldiers to Ukraine, as well as the transfer of the dead defenders of the Republic to the LPR, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairwoman of a special commission to document war crimes of the Ukrainian regime against Donbass Anna Soroka told journalists.
“Unfortunately, it doesn’t work, and the Red Cross does not offer an effective mechanism for interaction with the Ukrainian side. They (the ICRC) offer us to negotiate independently (with Kiev), and I laugh all the time, I say: “If they could reach agreements with us, then we would have done it eight years ago, and the Minsk agreements would have been implemented differently," she said.
Soroka added that the Republic is in contact only with relatives of the dead army members, but not with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities. *t
