The Lugansk People’s Republic is drawing investment declarations to launch housing construction projects, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities told the Lugansk Media Center.
“The documents are drawn to involve land in turnover, according to the procedure set by the law on the free economic zone in the new regions,” the Ministry said. “At present, six housing construction projects are in the works in Lugansk and Sverdlovsk.”
Sverdlovsk district officials earlier said that the construction of a nine-storey apartment house under preferential mortgage program would begin in 2024 with the assistance of Krasnoyarsk Territory sponsors.   In May, the Russian State Register Department for the LPR set up an center for selecting the locations attractive to investors as well as the land plots to meet the region’s needs in housing construction and tourism.*i
