Almost 400 families have received compensations for the loss of essential appliances, and 60 families have been compensated for the loss of property.
"The LPR allocated 100,000 roubles to each of 378 families who lost essential appliances," the Government said in a press statement citing the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
"Compensations for property, lost or damaged during the military action, have been paid to 60 families, the total sum is 59,664,500 roubles," the Government said.
Ukraine has been carrying out a military crackdown against Donbass since 2014. Multiple announcements of ceasefires failed to stabilize the situation. The simmering armed conflict escalated rapidly in February this year, and sent Donbass barrelling towards an unprecedented bloodshed.
Russia intervened on February 24 by launching a special military operation to demilitarize Ukraine and bring peace back to Donbass. *t
