Engineers of the LPR People’s Militia removed unexploded ordnance from 50,900 square meters of land in November, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
“The Militia’s engineer units (in November 2021), assisted and monitored by the LPR Mission to the JCCC, conducted UXO clearance next to settlements and critical infrastructure facilities on a total area of 50,900 square meters,” the report said. “Twenty three pieces of unexploded ordnance were found and rendered harmless.”
In 2020, LPR People’s Militia and Emergencies Ministry engineers removed UXO from an area of more than 1,100 hectares. *t
