The Lugansk People’s Republic Industry and Trade Ministry is creating the necessary conditions for quick launch in the future of the “Azot” chemical company in Severodonetsk.
“The “Azot” situation is complicated by the company’s proximity to the contact line,” the Ministry told the Lugansk Media Center. “The mechanisms for repairs and development of the company will gain speed as soon as the frontline has stabilized.”
Efforts are underway to prepare the ground for a favorable industrial climate which will help to quickly launch the enterprise. A balanced approach in used in encouraging former “Azot” workers to return to the company and hiring new specialists, it said.
The Ministry also said that it was focused to supporting war-damaged enterprises and relaunching the companies which had been idling or lost their supply chains due to hostilities.
“When launched, “Azot” will be able to produce much needed products for the domestic and external markets; its integration in the Russian economy will stabilize the social and economic situation and increase regional budget revenue,” the Ministry said.
