LPR prosecutors file 1,410 criminal cases against Ukrainian military since beginning of 2022
Lugansk People’s Republic prosecutors have filed 1,410 criminal cases since the beginning of this year over the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare by Kiev forces, prosecutor of the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office public relations department Yelena Gusak said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
“The PGO Office for crimes related to the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, under the Department for Supervision over Compliance with Law in the Military Sphere has filed 20 criminal cases over the facts of use of prohibited means and methods of warfare, genocide, and other crimes by servicemen of Ukrainian armed formations (over the past week),” Gusak said. “This year, investigators of the above Office have filed 1,410 criminal cases.”
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.*i*ie
