The administration of the Antratsit town and district of the Lugansk People’s Republic and the government of Russia’s Stavropol Territory have signed a cooperation agreement, a Town Hall report said.
The document was signed by Antratsit administration Head Sergey Saenko and Stavropol Territory governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
Saenko said in his welcoming speech that LPR and Russian specialists had examined the current situation in the local economy and social sphere. “We’ll continue to cooperate aiming to improve the life of Antratsit residents,” he said.
Vladimirov said that the Stavropol authorities were “set to help people.” “We would very much like each resident to feel our support which our president (Vladimir Putin) urged us to provide. The objectives are clear; we’ll be working,” the Stavropol Territory governor said.
Earlier, Russia’s Bryansk region pledged to help Bryanka, the Novosibirsk region will aid the Belovodsky district and the Volgograd region will take Alchevsk under patronage. Moscow will assist Lugansk, the Kaluga region will partner Pervomaisk and the Altai Territory will aid the Slvayanoserbsk district. The liberated Melovsky, Markovsky and Novopskovsky districts of the Lugansk People’s Republic signed cooperation agreements with Russia’s Voronezh region. Saratov region representatives recently inspected social and housing infrastructure in the LPR’s Svatovsky district. *i*s
