Russia’s Central Election Commission has set the parliamentary and municipal elections in the new territories for Single Voting Day on September 10, CEC chairwoman Ella Pamfilova said following a Commission session.
The CEC members unanimously supported the four draft resolutions on elections in each new region.
Presenting the documents, Pamfilova said that CEC had held consultations earlier this week with the Russian Defense Ministry and Federal Security Service which approved the upcoming voting despite the martial law operating in the new territories.
On September 10 which is Single Voting Day in Russia, the LPR will hold elections to the People’s Council (parliament) and municipal bodies. The voting can last for up to three days. *i*ie
