Specialists will modernize 57 water supply facilities and 55.9 kilometers of water lines in the Lugansk People’s Republic this year as part of preparations for the new heating season, the press service of the Russian Construction and Utilities Ministry reported.
Russian Construction and Utilities Minister Irek Faizullin, LPR Government Chairman Sergey Kozlov and his first deputy Yury Govtvin have discussed progress in rebuilding and developing social infrastructure and preparing the LPR socio-economic development program, the press service said.
The parties also considered the development of the LPR housing and utilities sector.
Earlier, the Ministry reported that 58 boiler houses and 62 pipelines were restored in the LPR in 2022.
Last year, construction workers rebuilt or repaired more than 1,400 civil infrastructure facilities including 248 sociocultural facilities in the Republic.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
