Lugansk polyclinic No.10 is going to vaccinate 100-120 people per day using the newly delivered Russian Sputnik Light vaccines, the dean of the medical institution Svetlana Kazartseva said.
"We are having an intense day as the Sputnik Light rollout began. We have already carried out a vaccination, it's not out first inoculation program, it's not terrifying. We can administer up to 120 jabs in a day, and we can open two more vaccination centers, they are ready."
More than 20 people received jabs in the first hour of the vaccination.
"It is a standard procedure. Doctors examine registered patients, if they have no contraindications they are administered the vaccine and remain under observation for 30 minutes for a second examination, if they feel normal, they are free to go home."
Kazartseva said the vaccine is in high demand, as people are booking appointments over the phone or at the front desk.
"We confirm all the bookings, there are no rejections. For the most part, elderly citizens and those exposed to a large number of contact at work book the appointments for the inoculation."
A new batch of Russian vaccine was delivered in the LPR on July 28.*t
