Rebuilding projects in the new regions involve more than 30,000 specialists from all parts of the country, Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said in an interview with the Lugansk Media Center.
“As many as 33,000 personnel including local residents work in the new regions; at peak moments their number surged to 60,000,” Faizullin said adding that training had been launched for hired hands and prospective employees.
Depending on the construction cycle, workers are successively trained for plasterer, glazier or roofer. These are the most in-demand professions now, he said.
People from all over the country have been coming to the new regions ever since the launching of massive rebuilding. There is also the feeling of being part of the great cause; many builders want to pool efforts to help people in the new regions and contribute to a new and secure future, the minister said.*i*sb
