Some 100 schoolchildren and students from the Lugansk People’s Republic have made it to the finals of the “Writing the Future” creativity contest  as part of a project implemented by the autonomous non-project organization Russia - Land of Opportunity, said LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik.
“About 100 schoolchildren and students are among 500 finalists,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram.
The contest has welcomed young participants aged 14 to 25 from the four new Russian regions since 2022. In 2023, almost 12,000 young people, including 4,100 from the LPR have applied for participation.
“I believe that the project is very important. On the one hand, it gives us an opportunity to hear our youths and understand their vision of our region and its development,” the LPR leader said.  “On the other hand, young people who participate in such projects get new knowledge and competences and communicate with like-minded persons.”
The project finals are due to take place in November 2023. The winners in each of the seven categories will have the opportunity to make practice-oriented trips across Russia.   *** “Russia - Land of Opportunity” is an autonomous profit organization established at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin in 2018.
