Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Council deputy Olga Bas has taken an oath of allegiance on Friday as a new member of the Republic’s top legislative body, the LPR parliament press service reported.   She pledged to work in strict compliance with the LPR Constitution and laws, respect and uphold human rights and freedoms, perform her duties, be always fair, humane, principled and impartial, secure equal conditions for citizens in defending their rights and legitimate interests, devote her knowledges, skills and experience to the establishment of democratic law-governed state, help strengthen law and order and uphold the high title of deputy, the press service said.   LPR Central Election Commission secretary Yekaterina Tereschenko read out the resolution on recognizing Olga Bas as elected deputy of the LPR People’s Council. Bas was a nominee of the Mir Luganschine social movement.   Bas had been head of the LPR leader administration. Her election to the parliament followed the early resignation of parliament member Mikhail Golubovich.*i*v
