Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik has met with Astrakhan region governor Igor Babushkin to discuss the rebuilding of the Kremennaya District.
“Astrakhan is our old friend; they’ve been providing tremendous assistance to the most troublesome Kremennaya district where settlements are under constant enemy fire due to their proximity to the frontline,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram.
He said that they had discussed humanitarian aid to the population, preparation for the new schoolyear and the rebuilding of Kremennaya district infrastructure.
A multi-functional public services center will begin full-fledged operation in district in the near future, the LPR leader said adding that he and Babsuhkin also considered expansion of cooperation.
The Kremennaya district and the Astrakhan region signed a cooperation agreement in August 2022.*i*sb
