Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik has presented keys to new apartments to the first six Alchevsk families, said the press service of the regional leader.
“Keys to new apartments have been presented to families of Alchevsk metallurgical works personnel, special military operation participants and doctors sent to work in the town,” the press service said.
Tekhstroy Ltd, together with the Single Customer in the Fields of Construction state-owned company have completed since last autumn three housing projects which were abandoned by Ukrainian authorities, and are ready to commission 144 apartments in comfortable modern houses.
Pasechnik thanked the Russian specialists saying that the commissioning of apartment buildings is a benchmark event for the whole Lugansk region which has not seen new housing construction for decades.
“It is just the beginning, our goal is to build new housing with the necessary infrastructure: children’s playgrounds, schools and kindergartens,” he said.
Federal Treasury Deputy Head Eli Isayev, “Single Customer” Director General Karen Oganesyan and Alchevsk Mayor Albert Apshev came to the offer their best wishes to the new tenants.
“I wish the town more occasions like this, and the new tenants a good and peaceful life in these beautiful houses with all amenities,” Isayev said.
