Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik and Uralvagonzavod concern Director General Alexander Potapov have discussed the development of LPR industrial companies.
“The industrial giant has been cooperating with the Alchevsk Metallurgical Works, the LPR’s largest metallurgical company since the beginning of 2022, purchasing metal for production,” Pasechnik said in a post on Telegram.
Potapov expressed an interest in stepping up the procurements and praised the high quality of LPR steel, he added.
“The assistance the concern is providing to the Stakhanov railcar manufacturing plant is no less important. After industrial marking, it is helping with the certification of rolling stock. We already have certificates for the production of mineral wagons and low-sided cars. Plans are in place to manufacture grain wagons,” the LPR leader said.
These much-needed projects will give an extra impulse to the Republic’s agricultural sector which has a tremendous potential. Stakhanov railcars can also meet the demand in other regions, said Pasechnik.
He thanked Potapov for the relief supplies which Uralvagonzavod regularly sends to LPR servicemen and residents.*i*sb
