President Vladimir Putin has wished a happy birthday to Sverdlovsk resident Anna Mazayeva who has turned 95.
Sverdlovsk deputy mayor Tatyana Miroshnikova was among the guests who visited the hero of the occasion, a mother of eight children, with 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
“You are a happy person to have so many relatives around,” Miroshnikova told Mazayeva as she was presenting a happy birthday message from Russian President Vladimir Putin and a bunch of flowers from Sverdlovsk district officials.
Anna Mazayeva is a believer who prays for all her relatives and holds the Russian president in high esteem, her daughters said.
She burst into tears as she held the envelope with the president’s message, a token of attention from the person she had always respected, local officials said.*i
