National Guard of Russia eliminates 128 Ukrainian drones in LPR over month

Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) units have destroyed 128 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past month, Rosgvardia’s press service reported.  

In a recent incident in the LPR, a Rosgvardia air observation post detected a quadcopter flying past barracks. Servicemen used anti-drone guns to immobilize the UAV and later shot it down over a wooded area.

  Rosgvardia officers detained two men not far from the scene. A search of their vehicle found walkie-talkie chargers, a drone controller, several smartphones and a tablet PC.  The detainees were handed over to the local police department, the Rosgvardia press service said.*i
