Russian electronic countermeasures have eliminated or suppressed 27 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the special military operation zone including the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“(Over the past 24 hours), 27 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed or suppressed in the areas of Spornoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Mirnoye, Proletarskoye and Skelevatoye in the Zaporozhye region and Kokhany in the Kherson region,” the report said.
On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units, aircraft and artillery repelled two attacks by assault groups of Ukraine’s 67th Mecharnized Brigade and 12th Special Operations Brigade in the areas of Chervonaya Dibrova and Serebryanka Forestry.
“The Ukrainian army lost over 50 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, three cars and one D-20 howitzer,” the Defense Ministry said.
On the Kupyansk axis, Task Force “West” aircraft and artillery delivered strikes at manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army's 14th, 30th and 92nd Mechanized Brigade, 25th Airborne Brigade and 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of Sinkovka and Berestovoye in the Kharkov region and Novosyolovskoye and Artyomovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
Up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, two pickups, one US-made M777 artillery piece and two “Msta-B” howitzers were destroyed, the Ministry said.
