Russian security services have contained the threat of a terrorist attack by seizing a munitions cache of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, a law-enforcement source told the Lugansk Media Center.   “Russian secret services found a munitions cache in the Lugansk People’s Republic which Ukrainian saboteurs planned to use in terrorist attacks in northern districts of the region,” the source said.   The cache contained 43 RPG-7 grenade launcher rounds, 61 anti-tank mine detonators, primer charges and various munitions.   “The threat of terrorist attacks has been contained; measures are being taken to establish the identities of the persons who hid the cache,” the law-enforcer said.   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.   The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
