Charlotta Relander will replace Toni Frisch at the post of humanitarian subgroup coordinator for the OSCE, Lugansk People’s Republic Foreign Minister, LPR representative in the Contact Group Vladislav Deinego said.
Frisch said at the last Contact Group meeting he attended that he deeply regretted Ukraine’s accusation of bias against him,” while underlining that he had always been guided in this work by the principles of equality for all participants,” Deinego said.
"These accusations sounded particularly cynical given the fact that this session involving Mr Frisch as coordinator was his last; Ms Charlotta Relander is replacing him next week,” he said.
The LPR representative in the Contact Group noted that “Kiev acknowledges impartiality when it’s played up to, viewing the rest as bias.”
“The reality shows that Kiev is not making any productive moves; on the contrary, it is doing everything to confuse the process on all tracks,” Deinego said.
According to her social media profile, Charlotta Relander has an extensive experience of working for the International Committee of the Red Cross and "managing complex teams as a highly resilient leader". She was the head of delegation to Tajikistan in 2000-2002, and head of regional delegation to South America based in Peru. Relander was born in Finland and is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Swedish and has an elementary level in Russian.*i*t
