Six people were killed in Ukrainian artillery attacks on the Lugansk People’s Republic in September, said LPR ombudsperson Viktoria Serdyukova.

“Thirty-eight artillery strikes at 14 settlements were recorded in the period from September 1 through September 30, in which 132 civil infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed,” Serdyukova said in a post on Telegram. “Thirty-four people were wounded; six were killed.”

A 14-year-old boy was injured in an UXO incident during lawn mowing in Pervomaisk on September 13.

“The figures can actually be larger because the information from the areas which are regularly shelled by Ukrainian armed formations only comes after fact-finding inspections and is included in subsequent updates,” she said.

“Two artillery strikes by Ukrainian armed formations at the town of Kremennaya in August 2023 have not been previously reported,” the ombudsperson said adding that three people had been killed and another three had been wounded in these attacks.

The information about Kiev army crimes against LPR civilians has been sent to international human rights organizations, she said.*i*sb
