Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Territory have set up a multi-functional youth center in Sverdlovsk, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
- “It’s a truly long-awaited event for the town which has never had facilities of this level before,” the Russian government press service quoted Khusnullin as saying. “Thanks to the sponsor region, the Sverdlovsk Community Center has created conditions for socialization, self-development and self-fulfillment for young people under 35 years of age.”
The youth center has modern equipment and offers room capacity for 100 people. It provides opportunities for unlocking one’s potential, using one’s talents at creativity workshops and joining a patriotic movement to work on important social initiatives, he said.
Krasnoyarsk Territory specialists repaired the Community Center frontage, replaced windows, utility lines and systems, and did interior finish on a total area of 600 square meters. The Community Center’s renovated library now has a graphical user interface panel connected to Russia’s national library and information fund, Khusnullin said.
