Russian sponsor regions will restore some 140 schools and kindergartens in the Lugansk People’s Republic this year, LPR Education and Science Minister Ivan Kusov said at a press briefing in the Government House.   “The sponsor regions are planning to repair and restore some 140 education facilities, both schools and kindergartens, together with their boiler houses, food catering units, roofs etc.,” Kusov said.   The plan covers schools damaged by shelling in the towns of Stakhanov, Pervomaisk, Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, he added.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
