Three hundred thousand Russian volunteers have signed contacts with the armed forces to participate in the special military operation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Belarussian leader Alexander Lukashenko.
“A couple of days ago I said that 270,000 men, our fighters had signed contracts with the Russian armed forces but these figures were outdated,” Putin said. “Today, I received a report that contracts have been signed by 300,000 people who are ready - I wish to underscore once again - to sacrifice their lives in the interests of their Motherland protecting Russian interests.”
