Two LPR residents killed, 24 wounded in Ukrainian artillery strikes in June - ombudsperson
Two people were killed and another 24 were wounded in Ukrainian army attacks on the Lugansk People’s Republic in June, said LPR ombudsperson Viktoria Serdyukova.
“Thirty-nine strikes at 17 LPR settlements were recorded from June 1 through June 30 in which two people were killed and 24 were wounded,” Serdyukova wrote on Telegram. “Forty homes and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed. The enemy used Storm Shadow cruise missiles and high mobility artillery rocket system projectiles in the attacks.”
The figures can actually be larger because the information from areas which are regularly shelled by Ukrainian armed formations only comes after fact-finding inspections and is included in subsequent updates, she said.
