The Tyumen region has drawn a schedule of works in the sponsored Krasnodon district of the Lugansk People's Republic for the next three years, Tyumen region governor Alexander Moor told reporters at the “Russia” international exhibition forum in Moscow.
“We’re not scaling down the funding,” Moor said adding that “we coordinated the list of facilities with our colleagues from Krasnodon."
The workschedule includes repairs of the rundown utility infrastructure and district health centers, he said.
“Medical personnel worked with sheer enthusiasm; the most important thing is that we saw the fire in the eyes of doctors, nurses, and midwives. They remain dedicated to their work despite the difficult situation. Of course we’ve made a joint decision to give priority to healthcare facilities,” the governor said.
The Tyumen region supplies equipment to schools and arranges recreation for children from the Krasnodon district. "We have a large health care program because high-tech assistance is not yet available in the LPR, so patients with severe illnesses had to be taken to Tyumen for surgery," he said.
