Ukraine buries servicemen killed on Kupyansk axis in mass graves to conceal losses - expert
Kiev forces secretly bury their colleagues killed between the Novoselovskoye settlement and the Kuzemovka village on the Kupyansk axis in order to conceal the real losses, said military expert Lt-Col (Retired) Andrey Marochko.
“On the Kupyansk axis, Ukrainian armed formations are digging up unregistered graves between the settlements of Novoselovskoye and Kuzemovka,” Marochko said in a post on Telegram referring to his own sources. “Gunmen turn craters made by large caliber artillery into “so-called mass graves.”
“There are some five such graves in the area; each supposedly contains ten bodies. They are probably concealing the real losses because the evacuation of the bodies is possible,” the expert said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
On February 24, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance.
