The reburial ceremony of remains of Ukrainian aggression victims will take place on the premises of a memorial site in the Vidny neighborhood area in Lugansk on November 8, activists of the social organization “We Won’t Forget, Won’t Forgive” wrote on Telegram.
“The ceremony to rebury remains of civilian victims of Ukrainian aggression will take place at the “We Won’t Forget, Won’t Forgive” memorial complex near the T13-01 road in the Vidny settlement area (Lugansk) at 10:00 on November 8,” the organization said.
The victims have not been identified up to date. The remains were retrieved from makeshift graves in LPR liberated areas as part of the activity of the inter-departmental working group on the search for burial sites of Ukrainian aggression victims, their identification and perpetration of their memory.
“We invite concerned residents of Lugansk and the Lugansk People’s Republic to take part in the reburial ceremony by venerating the memory of innocent civilians killed as a result of criminal actions by Ukrainian neo-Nazis,” the activists said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
