Ukrainian forces have fired an American high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) at Severodonetsk, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.   “Ukrainian armed formations used a HIMARS to shell the settlement of Severodonetsk (two missiles) at 09:15,” the JCCC said.   No casualties or damage were immediately reported.   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022, based on the results of the unification referendum.*i*ie
