Sabotage group personnel detained in Lugansk in connection with Colonel Oleg Anaschenko murder, have carried out terror attacks in DPR, LPR and Russia, said LPR Minister of State Security Leonid Pasechnik.
Earlier the minister said that the Ministry of State Security together with the Interior Ministry uncovered a terrorist network comprising several sabotage-reconnaissance groups connected to the murder of LPR Colonel Oleg Anaschenko, who was killed in a car blast in Lugansk on February 4. Sabotage group personnel detained in Lugansk also prepared terror acts in Russia.
"We know, including from the testaments of the detained servicemen of eighth regiment of Ukrainian Special Operation Forces, that the regiment's command alongside the head of counter-intelligence operations department of Ukrainian Security Service Anatoliy Sandurskiy, call-sign Khutor, prepared and carried out sabotage and terror attacks in DPR, LPR and Russia. We will inform the public on some of the crimes via our press service," said Pasechnik.
"Some of them unfortunately cannot be disclosed to public right now as it is sensitive information."
LPR police has solved the murder of Colonel Oleg Anaschenko and detained the suspects, said LPR Interior Minister Igor Kornet earlier on Friday. All of them are servicemen of Ukrainian army special forces and were deployed to Lugansk among other reconnaissance-sabotage group personnel, to carry out terror acts on the Security Service of the Ukraine (SBU) commands.
