Kiev forces strikes have destroyed or ruined 1,435 pieces of housing and social infrastructure in Pervomaisk in the Lugansk People's Republic since February 22, 2022, town administration head Sergey Kolyagin said.
“Overall, 1,435 buildings have been damaged since February 22,” Kolyagin said. “We have recorded damage to nine structures over the past 24 hours. The night shelling was chaotic; several trade outlets were damaged; the Zarya Culture and Recreation Centre took damage for the fourth time since the escalation as a projectile exploded in Lenin Square.”
There have been no casualties, he added.
Pervomaisk authorities reported that as of June 8, 1,406 houses and social infrastructure facilities had been damaged in shelling by Kiev forces.
In the previous 24-hour period, Kiev forces shelled the territory in the LPR responsibility zone twice.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*t
