Russian servicemen in the Lugansk People’s Republic have rebuffed 15 breakthrough attempts by the Ukrainian army over the past week, said LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik.
”Over the past week, our army units suppressed 15 attempts by the enemy to break though the contact line,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram.
2nd Lugansk-Severdonetsk Army Corps artillerymen jointly with drone operators and electronic warfare crews “pounded Ukrainian army positions losing them the opportunity for offensive operations,” he said.   The enemy lost up to 160 servicemen and the following weapons and military equipment: - 15 artillery pieces and mortars, including two Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzers and one US-made M777 155mm gun; - more than 20 recoilless guns, anti-tank missile systems, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers; - 15 cars; - 17 permanent fire positions, log emplacements, communications centers and field ammunition depots.   Russian air defense units and electronic warfare crews foiled 23 attempts to invade the Republic’s air space destroying more than 30 enemy drones, Pasechnik said.*i
