LPR Head condoles death of Mikhail Filiponenko
Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik has expressed his condolences in connection with the death of LPR parliament member, former Head of the LPR People’s Militia Mikhail Filiponenko.
Filiponenko was killed in a car bomb explosion in Lugansk on Tuesday morning. Russia’s Investigative Committee called it an act of terror and instituted criminal proceedings.
“The Lugansk People’s Republic has sustained a heavy loss,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram. “He was a true man; despite his civil profession, he joined hundreds of militiamen in 2014 to defend his home and family.”
