The Lugansk People’s Republic government has adopted a resolution expanding the list of recipients of compensations for the loss of essential property, the LPR government press service reported.   The updated resolution says that compensations will be paid to each member of the family who have lost essential property since April  13, 2014. Previously, payments were made to families that had lost their property since February 2022.   The recipients are registered tenants of a house including minors as of the moment of property loss, as well as homeowners.   Lumpsum compensation is paid in the amount of 100,000 rubles per person for complete loss of property and 50,000 rubles per person for partial loss of property.   Applications are forwarded to the authorities of the towns/or district where property loss occurred.     In 2022, LPR authorities paid loss of property compensations to more than 3,100 families.    ***   The LPR government set the procedure for paying lumpsum compensations and launched hotlines for consultations. Essential property is comprised of a refrigerator, gas (electric) stove, cupboard, table, chairs, bed (sofa), TV set (radio), water pump, hot water appliance and boiler (if centralized water and heat supply is unavailable).   ***   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
