Pasechnik calls upon residents to vote in upcoming elections
Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik has urged residents to take an active part in the September elections.
“In just two months, LPR residents will elect those who will shape the future of the region in the next five years,” Pasechnik said on Telegram. “The elections in the LPR will run on September 8,9 and 10 for security reasons. I’m confident that together, we’ll elect the most worthy persons who wish to develop Donbass.”
The LPR Election Commissions has prepared election information on the number of ballots, voter documents, voting from home or from other Russian regions, he said.

The LPR will hold elections to the People’s Council (parliament) and municipal bodies. Early voting, organization of plebiscite in public spaces and ballot casting options for certain groups of the population are provided for by regional law. LPR election authorities will open 461 voting stations across the Republic.
