Russian forces have repelled ten Ukrainian counterattacks on the Kupyahsk axis and improved their positions on the forward line, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“On the Kupyansk axis, Task Force “West” units, supported by aircraft and artillery, repelled ten attacks by the Ukrainian army’s 32nd and 115th Mechanized Brigades and 10th Mountain Assault Brigade in the areas of Ivanovka and Sinkovka in the Kharkov region and Makeyevka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, and improved their positions on the forward line,” the report said. “Enemy losses amounted up to 280 servicemen killed or wounded, one tank and two vehicles.”
In counterbattery duels, Russian forces knocked out one US-made M777 artillery piece, one Polish “Krab” self-propelled howitzer and one “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzer.
“On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units repelled two attacks by 67th Mechanized Brigade’s assault groups in the Serebryanka Forestry area.
Strikes were delivered at manpower and equipment of Ukraine’s “Azov” 12th Special Operations Brigade, 63rd Mechanized Brigade and 5th National Guard Brigade in the areas south of Kuzmino and Chervonaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic and Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Enemy losses on this axis amounted up to 65 servicemen and two pickups. In counterfire activity, Russian forces knocked out one French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzer, three Msta-C self-propelled howitzers, Akatsiya and Gvozdika howitzers, one D-30 gun and one Czech-made RM-70 multiple rocket launcher.
"Forty-one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the areas of Romanovskoye, Ocheretovatoye and Ilchenkovo in the Zaporozhye region, Vasilevka and Peschanovka in the Kherson region, Paraskoviyevka, Kirilovka, Artyomovsk, Nikolayevka and Peski in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Ploshchanka and Novodruzhesk in the Lugansk People’s Republic,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
