Russian air defense units have shot down 32 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the special military operation zone including the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“Over the past 24 hours, five US-made high mobility artillery rocket system projectiles were intercepted,” the report said. “Thirty-two Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in the areas of Novaya Mayachka in the Kherson region, Staromikhailovka, Spornoye, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Belogorovka and Nyrkovo in the LPR.”
On the Krasny Liman axis, Task Force “Center” units supported by artillery repelled two attacks by the Ukrainian army’s 63rd Mechanized Brigade in the Chervonaya Dibrova settlement area in the LPR and Torskoye in the DPR.
“Enemy losses amounted up to 180 servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles, three cars and one D-20 howitzer,” the Defense Ministry said.*i
